Locomotive 01 150 was delivered in 1935 with the factory number 22698 by the locomotive forge Henschel & Sohn in Kassel. Initially, it earned its coal by working the low mountain ranges in Hesse and Thuringia – from Bebra. For thirty years she remained loyal to her Hessian homeland. Darmstadt, Hanau, Frankfurt/M, Wiesbaden and Giessen were its stations and the main railways on the Rhine and Lahn, via the Spessart Heights and the Wetterau its territory. They were retired in November 1973 in Hof.
